Schools Results to 1 May
Shock for Boland Landbou
There was another short week for the schools this week with another short week to come. But there was still time for some schools to play and for Boland Landbou to get an unexpected defeat.
In Bloemfontein, after a hard journey up from Pietermaritzburg now that trains are no longer available, Grey Bloem had a huge win over Maritzburg College.
KES had a great win over DHS as their improvement this year becomes more and more marked.
In Johannesburg there was the FNB Gauteng-KwaZulu Natal Rugby Festival where schools from Gauteng played schools from the other side of the Drakensberg.
There was a rugby festival at Wynberg Boys' High on Thursday and Saturday with six schools in action.
In Pretoria there were the matches in the Michelin Series on Freedom Day.
In Paarl there was a keen derby between Klein Nederburg and Paulus Joubert.
