Selborne to grapple with hurt Grey
Of course, Grey are hurt but they are the sort of school that will stand up with all the power of a wounded buffalo.
In the past Selborne have beaten Grey, just not often. But the last time was the last time in East London, just two years ago.
Selborne have not been having a great season but if they were to beat Grey, it would be a season to remember. They have lost four of their 10 matches – to Monument, Helpmekaar, Paarl Boys' High and, last weekend, Dale.
Grey have been having a good season, as they always do and as always they have played several top sides, beating Waterkloof, Maritzburg College, Boland Landbou, Paarl Gim and, by the skin of their teeth, Affies, losing just to Paarl Boys High.
Their only opponents in common are Paarl Boys' High, to whom both of them lost – Selborne 33-16 and Grey 46-31.
