Sipho Siboza - Captain of Pietersburg

Pietersburg captain Sipho Siboza has not forgotten the pain of defeat to Ben Vorster last year and is determined to see his team turn the tables on home soil in their FNB Classic Clash this weekend.

The imposing lock says that his team is high on confidence after a morale-boosting win last week, but the big test will come on Saturday against a highly competitive Ben Vorster outfit.

Siboza believes that if his team is to get over the line then they will have to get things right up front first, and he intends to lead the way in this regard.

"We have a pretty strong forward pack so we will try to stick to our structures and stay disciplined because they are quite a physical team," he said.

The Pietersburg captain says that his team have focused on their set-pieces this week in an attempt to ensure that they get quality first-phase possession on Saturday.

"If we can stay organised and win quick ball then we have a good chance, but we will need to keep our focus until the final whistle and defend well because they will punish us if we take our eye off the ball," he explained.

Siboza has targeted a fast start as key to his team's chances on Saturday, and expects nothing less than total commitment from his team.

"We want to come out firing so I will try and get the guys hyped up because if we play hard in the first half then we should have enough momentum to get the win," said Siboza.
