Southern Suburbs derbies the headliners
WEEKEND RESULTS: It was a more subdued weekend on the school scene, with a number of the top schools taking a break.
However, there was enough action and drama – especially in the Southern Suburb of Cape Town.
Rondebosch established themselves as the leading team in this region, demolishing arch-rivals Bishops 31-16.
Early-season pace-setters Wynberg lost ground as they went down 29-30 to SACS.
Up North, there were also some fascinating outcomes – EG Jansen and Waterkloof playing to a 32-all draw, while Monument bounced back from a recent slump to thrash Marais Viljoen 64-34.
In KwaZulu-Natal, the most consuming result was Durban High School beating Michaelhouse 23-10.
