Springbok schools
It is the team that will represent South Africa. Nobody else's team will do that – only Meyer's team.
Schools are often said to have 'produced' so many Springboks. That is not accurate. Boys who became Springboks went to those schools. By far the most boys who went to those schools did not become Springboks. But it may be true that the school inculcated a love of playing the game and equipping them with skills.
Of this Springbok team Lwazi Mvovo did not start playing till he was 17.
It is also true that the opportunities given by some schools are more conducive to providing better opportunities. At present that is certainly true of Grey College in Bloemfontein.
