St Andrew's down Dale
This ended off a very successful season for the team, who, after suffering two early defeats, have not lost a game since Easter, beating traditional powerhouses Grey PE, Selborne, Queens and Marlow in the process.
Jack Allanson opened the scoring after a good move by the College backline.
After winning an opposition scrum, record breaking centre, Matt More then ran eighty metres to score under poles, with Murray Koster converting, to give College an early 12-0 lead.
A long period followed where College were not able to convert a number of chances.
Dale capitalised with a try of their own after a missed tackle by College in the midfield.
College consolidated to regain their 12 point advantage going into half time after good work off a lineout which saw Sean Varty scoring in the corner.
Dale bounced back immediately after half time to again reduce the deficit before Matt More scored two tries in quick succession, and complete his hat-trick, to see College out to a 27-12 lead.
These tries push Matt More up to a record 28 tries this season.
A high number of penalties saw College reduced to thirteen men allowing Dale to score a try through their dangerous flyhalf Fassi.
College were not going to allow Dale back into the match, however, and were determined to finish off on a high, with further tries going to Sean Varty and Carl Johnson, seeing College to a 40-17 win.
The win capped off an outstanding season for St Andrews College.
