Thabo Mlindi - Captain of Ndzondelelo

Ndzondelelo have not beaten Itembelihle for six years but their captain Thabo Mlindi is confident tha their side has what it takes to finish on top this weekend.

The 89kg prop, who lives for the tight exchanges, boasts four years of first-team experience so he will look to lead the charge for his team as they seek to add to the three victories they have already recorded this year.

Mlindi leads a young team with just one Matric boy in the starting line-up but he feels that his side has the goods to cause an upset in this FNB Classic Clash on Saturday.

"We are normally beaten by them but this year will be important. If we can keep our discipline then I am sure that we can finish in front," he explained.

Mlindi says that his dream is to play provincial rugby one day but for now the fearsome front row forward is focused on taking on his school's old rivals and making sure that their performance this weekend is one to remember.

Although Tembelihle have gotten the better of Ndzondelelo in recent years, none of them have been big victories, and Mlindi will be hoping that his determined and positive attitude will assist his team in turning the tables this weekend.
