The Big Zwide Derby
Much of this was generated by Theo Pieterse of Itembelihle who has moved on after over 30 years at thew school. A special man.
Itembelihle have been the more ambuitious of the two teams. For example this year they took part in the Grey Rugby Festival and played against Louis Botha and Graeme College. They have regularly beaten local school in the Port Elizabeth area.
Generally in the past the matches have been been close, except for 2015 when Itembelihle won 42-8. In 1014 they won 14-13 and in 2016 15-11.
The match is the big attraction but it is a great occasion for the schools – lots of fun.
