Tiere win again
Hoërskool Tygerberg beat Hoërskool Brackenfell 22-10 in their interschools match which was also an FNB Classic Clash.
It was the fifth year in a row that the Tiere have beaten the Brakke.
Parow was not absolved from the heavy rains that were the lot of the Western Cape this past weekend, and the match was played in wet, muddy, windy conditions.
The Tiere used the conditions better, especially when they had the strong wind at their backs. Their kicking was better and their backs faster and sharper. Three tries to one was a fair divide as Tygerberg were definitely the better team on the miserable day.
