Tony Stoops Festival, Day 3

By Paul Dobson
Tuesday 2 Apr 2013

The Cape tuned into the Cape of Storms on Easter Monday but, mercifully, Tygerberg was relatively sheltered and another fine day of rugby was possible at the Tony Stoops Rugby Festival.

Hottentots Holland of Somerset West received the cup for the team that played the most attractive rugby.

A team is chosen at the end of the Festival. The eighthman chosen for the team is from Dollar Academy, a top Scottish independent school outside Edinburgh.

Tony Stoops Rugby Festival XV: 15 Stefan Eksteen (Montana), 14 Wentzel October (Langenhoven High), 13 Jonathan Badenhorst (Swellendam), 12 Jason Griffith (Hawston), 11 Perrus Vosloo (Kirkwood), 10 Adriaan Carelse (Hottentots Holland), 9 Nathan Augustus (Victoria Park), 8 Alasdair Mackie (Dollar Academy), 7 Pierre du Preez (Dirkie Uys), 6 Curtley Johnson (Vredenburg), 5 Arno du Plessis (Porterville), 4 Gavin Pretorius (Swartland), 3 Fungai Dube (York), 2 Jonathan Ford (Pearson) (captain), 1 Justin Antonie (Pearson)
