Top Players at Glenwood

Two of South Africa's top rugby schools meet again when Glenwood host Monument of Krugersdorp in Durban on Saturday in a Premier Interschools match.

The two schools had met occasionally here and there till it became an regular interschools fixture in 2010. So far there have been five such occasions with Monnas winning five to Glenwood's one.

This Season

Glenwood have played 11 matches this season and lost six of them but there is one results that carries a warning. Glenwood, after four defeats, broke records in hammering Maritzburg College 57-12. The College victory is Glenwood's only one over a Top 20 team.

Monument have played 15 matches, winning 12 and losing to Paarl Boys' High (ranked No.1), Paul Roos (ranked No.2) and Dr EG Jansen whom they have beaten twice. They have won six matches against Top 20 opponents, including Grey Bloem, HTS Middelburg and Nelspruit.
