Transvalia - Marco Jansen van Vuuren
Marco Jansen van Vuuren has hit many accolades in his fledgling rugby career having represented his province at U16 and U18 and even his country.
Jansen van Vuuren speaks of the highlights of his rugby playing life so far having been the SA Schools call up as well as his high school team winning the Beeld-trophy.
the captain speaks more of his team as a family than simply 22 other boys.
"Hard work pays off, we are not a team but a family and we need to believe in each other like a family when we play," the captain said.
"It has been a huge honour for me to be selected as the captain, I believe I am a great motivator and lead by example."
The history of the Classic Clash between Transvalia and Vereeniging Gimnasium has been weighted in Janse van Vuurens team's favour with them being the current title holders.
"We might hold the title, but they [Vereeniging ] are going to be very passionate and motivated, it will be extremely tough," he added.
The captain mentions that his team is also well weighted for this clash with there being a mixture of youth and experience.
Having represented his province and already being picked for national representation in his age group it is not surprising that Janse van Vuuren is looking to make rugby a full time profession.
