Tygerberg's six finalists

Hoërskool Tygerberg of Parow in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs, could have as many as six players in the finals in Durban on Saturday.

Eben Etzebeth, the Springboks lock who had played eight Tests before he had played for Western Province, will be in the Western Province Currie Cup team for the Currie Cup Final.

The curtainraiser to the Currie Cup Final is the Under-21 Final and there are three Tygerbergers in the two sides. Flank Jody Reyneke is in the Western Province side while lock Marvin Orie and wing Travis Ismaiel are in the Blue Bulls side.

Then there are two Tygerbergers in the Western Province Under-19 side – threequarter Justin Geduld and prop Entienne Swanepoel.

It would be understandable if the Tygerberg coach Gavin Beresford were proud of his young men.
