Voortrekker Rugby Day's results

Big crowd

Voortrekker Hoërskool of Pietermaritzburg held its 15th annual Rugby Day, part of a more general sports festival, again attracting a large crowd to the school near the river.

In the main match Voortrekker just beat the young Westville side. They teams each scored two tries but Voortrekker enjoyed profit from Westville's mistakes.

Kuswag surprised the bigger farmers from Weston when they ran them ragged in the second half after a scoreless first half.

A late try gave Voortrekker of Bethlehem an exciting win over St Charles.
