Wildeklawer Fixtures
It is clear that 2015 is closer than we feel it should be, for already we have fixtures for Kearney at Easter, Paul Roos' 150th celebration in March and Graeme's Rugby Day, and now we can add the prestigious Wildeklawer Super Schools Tournament to the list.
Several of the sides taking part, 13 in fact, were in the final FNB Top 20 for 2014 – Grey College Bloem (1), Monnas (2), Dr EG Jansen (4), HTS Middelburg (5), Waterkloof (7), Paarl Boys' High (8), Glenwood (9), Selborne (1)), Menlopark (12), Oakdale (15), Outeniqua (16), Paarl Gim (17) and Affies (20). It certainly again going to be a tournament of a high standard.
Of the teams, three are from Griquas, three from the Blue Bulls, three from Western Province, two from South Western Districts, two from Free State, and one each from Border, KwaZulu-Natal, Valke and Mpumalanga. Then the SARU XV in the past has been from Boland-Western Province.
The tournament is over three days in April, and Monday's matches will be broadcast on television.
