Potch Volks beat Potch Boys

College played Volkskool on Friday 13 April on the Gevers Field at Potchefstroom Boys’ High School. The match was a hard bruising encounter that Volkskool won 8-0.

Volks got a penalty in the second minute of the game and a try five minutes later and that is how the score stayed for the rest of the game.

The game was characterized by very physical rucking, mauling and good defensive lines on both sides.

This weekend College travel to Jeppe in Johannesburg. College who have lost many tight games this season will be looking to turn close losses into wins. College have only lost once to Jeppe since 2000 and that was in 2003 will have to contend with a much improved Jeppe side who have been playing some good rugby this season.
