Schools Results-12 May
There are some big results this week with top sides in action and those neighbourly affairs which always bring out the best.
Grey Bloem continue powerfully and so do Paul Roos and Paarl Gim.
In Durban, where relations between the two great schools have become strained over eligibility, the Grasshoppers beat the Horseflies.
In a cross-Grahamstown derby that is 129 years old, Graeme again beat St Andrew’s this time by a big score. Also in the Eastern Cape Selborne had an impressive win.
In Pretoria Nelspruit scored a try in the last minute and converted from touch to win by a single point. Also in Pretoria Affies slew the giant killers.
Jonathan Kaplan refereed in Agter-Paarl and phoned in all excited to say that it would rank as one of the best two of three schools matches he has ever refereed.
