Schools Results - 9 June
There were again fewer matches this weekend but there was the big Pretoria derby near Loftus Versfeld andthere was a huge result in the Western Cape.
Schools are on exams and schools are on strike, and so the matches shrink towards the mid-year but there was a big result in Stellenbosch when Gimmies went to play Paul Roos. The size of the score is all the more remarkable for the week of heavy rain that has buffeted the Cape of Storms.
In Pretoria there is just a road to cross to get from Affies to Boys High and the two old rivals met on Saturday.
Also in the land of the Blue Bull Eldoraigne, who had been doing so well this year, were well beaten by Menlopark.
The Rooi Bulle and the Nellies met in a big neighbourly clash in Mpumalanga.
