St John's Results - Day 3

The St John’s Easter Festival ends on Easter Monday.

This year’s St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival was attended by a record crowd, with the traditional scintillating schoolboy rugby on show. At times the score did not reflect the quality of the game. Nonetheless the passion, commitment and skill levels of all participants was of a very high standard throughout the festival.

Teams to watch out for throughout the year are Paul Roos and Grey College. Both these teams performed exceptionally, are well drilled and organised with pace, size and have structure to their game. They used all the facets of the game to produced excellent results throughout the week-end.

The visiting Australian team, Cranbrook College, showed a good knowledge of the game with high skill levels despite their size and being a year younger than most of the Festival participats.

The host team, St John’s College, won all three of their matches.
