FNB Top 20 - 16 May
Grey Bloem on their own
It's not easy to go to Paarl Boys' High and win, but Grey Bloem did so on Saturday when they won 20-5. For that reason we have put them on their own at the top of the FNB Top 20 this week.
Outeniqua did not play as there were trials in the South Western Districts but doubtlessly they will come strongly again.
We have nudged Paul Roos up for their victory over Paarl Gim in Paarl, a second home defeat for Paarl Gim in a row, surely a rare occurrence.
We have also moved Queen's up a place so that they are now level with Grey PE who had a tough time from Framesby. Paarl Gim have swapped places with HTS Middelburg who had a close encounter with their townsfolk from the Hoërskool who have a strong side this year.
After two good wins in the week Maritzburg College move up a place.
Back bubbling under are Diamantveld after their big win over Upington who seemed their biggest threat un Griqualand West and into that group come Tygerberg who, despite being weakened, ccontinued their winning ways with a victory over Wynberg.
