Schools Top 20 - August 9
Below are the results we used in deciding team movements. Paarl Boys' High have every reason to stay on top after beating Gim, though not by much, and so Gim stays where they are. The next four all won and so it's hard to demote any one of them, even though Grey College had that huge win.
The next two did not play and then there is well-beaten Grey High. Outeniqua had a good win and we move them up one and Grey down one. Drostdy lost to Stellenberg and drop down while St Andrew's and Stellenberg move up.
Selborne suffered their second successive defeat and drop to the pressure group while Hudson moves move up. Of the teams in the pressure group last week the best candidate for promotion is Brackenfell, and so they get a boot on the ladder.
Then we have slipped Oakdale into the bottom group. They have had a tough season, just losing to Paarl Boys' High, Paarl Gim and Outeniqua and now beating Marlow in their annual derby.
