Player Ratings: Lucky?
The Lions almost handed the game to the All Blacks after being penalised for offside in the 79th minute, which would have given Beauden Barrett the opportunity to win the series for the All Blacks.
However, referee Romain Poite changed his mind, which has probably made him enemy number one right across New Zealand.

15 Liam Williams:
He made a few errors under the high ball, but he was still a constant threat with ball in hand out wide.

It was a solid performance by the wing. He beat a few defenders and got his team out of trouble when they were under pressure.

The Welshman has a few good runs, but it was not his best day on defence.

12 Owen Farrell:
The playmaker struggled on defence. He missed quite a few tackles when New Zealand's big men ran at him. However, his goal-kicking saved the series for his team.

He definitely looked good in the opening quarter, but there were a few blemishes, particularly in the play that led to Ngani Laumape's try.

10 Johnny Sexton:
He did well to draw defenders before putting teammates into a bit of space outside him. He also carried on playing although he looked like he was carrying an injury.

9 Conor Murray:
His kicking game was magnificent throughout the 80 minutes and it got his team out of trouble on numerous occasions.

8 Taulupe Faletau:
He was a marked man in this Test, but he was still a tough customer in the physical exchanges.

He was not his normal barnstorming self. He eventually got replaced at half-time with what looked like a shoulder injury.

He did not have many opportunities with ball in hand, but he was effective in disrupting the All Blacks' ball at times.

He made more tackles than any other player in his team, but was unable to get good ball at the line-out due to his hooker's performance.

It was another outstanding display by the young man. His aggression with ball in hand and on defence put his team on the from foot on numerous occasions.

He was solid in the scrums and he had a few strong carries as well.

His line-out throwing was not up to standard and his inability to get an early hook put the Lions under pressure at scrum time.

He did not give any penalties away this week and his work rate in this match is something he can be proud of.
