Bulls rush their Boks back

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White wasted no time in naming his two returning Springboks in the squad for their opening United Rugby Championship match.

The Bulls are hosting Edinburgh at Loftus Versfeld in a Round Two fixture on Saturday.

Their Round One encounter against the Stormers – scheduled for last week – has been postponed to sometime next year – to accommodate the Currie Cup Final.

Canan Moodie will start on the win in Pretoria, with Johan Grobbelaar playing off the bench.

The team will be captained by Armand van der Merwe, with Marcel Coetzee as the back-up on the bench.

Bulls: 15 David Kriel, 14 Canan Moodie, 13 Stedman Gans, 12 Barend Smit, 11 Sebastian de Klerk, 10 Jaco van der Walt, 9 Embrose Papier, 8 Cameron Hanekom, 7 Jannes Kirsten, 6 Nama Xaba, 5 Cobus Wiese, 4 Ruan Vermaak, 3 Wilco Louw, 2 Armand van der Merwe (captain), 1 Alulutho Tshakweni.
