Small-Smith has been cleared following concussion and Smit will return to the training field Tuesday, having recovered from a hip pointer injury.

Rudolph Snyman, Werner Kruger and Marvin Orie sat out training on Monday due to light niggles.

However, Dean Greyling will only know on Thursday whether his knee will hold up for Friday's encounter with the Cheetahs.

Nick de Jager, who made his debut against Griquas this past weekend, strained his ankle and will undergo a scan.

Deon Stegmann is two weeks away from action, as is Justin Forwood, who is recovering from a rib injury.

Duncan Matthews will also be back in two weeks after his knee operation.
