Koch, who will play at tighthead, is one of three changes to the starting XV that will tackle the Sharks in Durban on Saturday in a Currie Cup Round Five match.

Koch, who missed the World Cup cut will start in place of Khwezi Mona, who drops down to the replacement bench.

Jaco Bouwer and Marnus Schoeman are changing places, with Bouwer starting at flank and Schoeman on the bench.

The final change to the starting XV sees Hoffmann Maritz getting his first start, at centre, after playing two matches off the bench. Jerome Pretorius drops down to the bench.
