Cheetahs switch it up for Sharks
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Cheetahs head coach Hawies Fourie has made a number of changes to his team for their Currie Cup Round Seven clash against the Sharks in Durban.
In the backline, Clayton Blommetjies returns to the starting XV after missing the Cheetahs’ win over the Western Province last week.
Blommethies will don the No.15 jersey, while Cohen Jasper moves to the wing, replacing the injured Malcolm Jaer (ankle).
The other change in the backline sees David Brits starting at outside centre. He joins veteran Frans Steyn as the new centre pair.
There are three changes in the pack.
Andisa Ntsila starts at flank while the in-form Jeandré Rudolph moves to the bench.
In the second row Aidon Davis returns from injury and will partner with lock Victor Sekekete.
Marne Coetzee starts at tighthead prop, replacing Aranos Coetzee.
The Cheetahs will be out to keep their unbeaten run intact and cement their spot on top of the log standing against a desperate Sharks side.
