CONFIRMED: Blommetjies to start against Sharks

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Clayton Blommetjies has been named in the Free States Cheetahs’ starting XV for their Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.

Blommetthies, who returned to Bloemfontein after he was released by Scarlets, will replace the injured Darren Adonis at fullback.

The other changes sees Carel-Jan Coetzee will be starting on wing and Louis Fouche will be replacing the injured Tian Schoeman. Dian Badenhorst /Tapiwa Mafura will be providing cover on the bench.

In the pack Junior Pokomela is the number six flank with Abongile Nonkontwana on number seven, replacing the injured Marnus van der Merwe. JP du Preez and Charles Marais will be in the starting line-up with Walt Steenkamp and Ox Nche on reserve.
