Griquas stick to winning formula
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: The Griquas head coach Pieter Bergh has made only one change to his starting XV that will face the Western Province on Friday at Danie Craven Stadium.
On the back of an emphatic win over the Cheetahs, last weekend, the Bergh and his side travel to Cape Town oozing with confidence.
The team produced a stunning performance – beating the Currie Cup favourites 46-18 in Bloemfontein.
The result ended the Cheetahs’ unbeaten run and also made sure the Griquas leapfrog the Sharks and climb from fifth to the third spot on the Currie Cup table.
Bergh has named an unchanged backline for the match against the WP.
Meanwhile, the only change is in the pack.
Simon Westraadt comes in at hooker.
He replaces Janco Uys, who will move to the bench.
Werner Gouws is set to make his debut from the bench.
