Lions officially unveil new signings ahead of Currie Cup campaign
TRANSFER NEWS: The Lions have confirmed several new signings ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
Bath prop Juan Schoeman is one of those signings that was confirmed on Monday.
He brother of Scottish international Pierre Schoeman.
He has previously played for the Southern Kings, Sharks and Blue Bulls.
The Lions have also announced the signing of hooker Franco Marais from Japanese club D-Rocks.

Marais previously played for the Sharks and in May 2017 he was named in the South Africa squad to face the French Barbarians, after some consistent performances for the Durban side.
The Lions also officially unveiled Tapiwa Mafura and Sibabalo Qoma from the Cheetahs.
Mafura is set to add some more speed to the Lions’ back three, while Qoma is a dynamic loose forward.
The Lions also welcomed Bulls flank WJ Steenkamp after he completed his medical.
The Johannesburg side will start their Currie Cup campaign with a match against the Sharks in Durban on Friday.
