Bulls' dramatic contract 'turnaround'
BREAKING NEWS: Less than a week after stating they would not make a mid-season announcement, the Bulls revealed the arrival of a player from another South African franchise.
Last week Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White said: “There’s no intention of anyone joining us before the end of the season.
“I’m talking about players from other unions in SA.”
Five days later the Bulls confirmed the arrival of Springbok Sibusiso Nkosi from the Sharks.
“ Nkosi, one of the game’s most destructive carriers and most lethal finishers, has signed for the Bulls ,” they posted on their social media platforms.

“We are obviously delighted to have a player of Nkosi’s calibre joining our ranks,” White said.
“He is a proven quality player who is respected internationally based on his track record for the Sharks and on the international stage for the Springboks.
“To be able to secure the services of a World Cup-winning player will be a big boost for us.
“We are confident that we have plenty to gain from Nkosi where he will contribute alongside some of our senior players and also be able to impart his knowledge and experience onto our young talent, whom I am convinced will be eager to learn from him.”
The 26-year-old Nkosi has not played for the Sharks since February due to health issues and injury.
When speculation was rife about his playing future and absence, Everitt revealed that the wing was struggling with a “gastric intestinal virus”.
He then suffered an ankle injury in training in early April before undergoing surgery, which will keep him out of action for a ‘lengthy period’.
Nkosi has 16 Springbok caps since his debut against England in 2018.
He will plug the void which will be left by Madosh Tambwe, who is heading to Europe.
