VIDEO: Bulls name powerful team for WP clash

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Blue Bulls head coach Pote Human has named a powerful team to face Western Province in a Currie Cup Round One clash at Newlands on Saturday.

Springbok lock Lodewyk de Jager will get much-needed game time ahead of the Rugby Championship as he gets the  No.5 jersey.

There is also a start for Springbok scrumhalf Embrose Papier who his part of dangerous-looking backline.

Divan Rossouw starts at fullback with Cornal Hendricks and Rosko Specman on the wings. Johnny Kotze and captain Burger Odendaal make up the midfield.

Manie Libbok gets the all-important No.10 jersey for the clash.

In the pack, Tim Agaba is at No.8 and with Wian Vosloo and Ruan Steenkamp completing the back row. Ruan Nortjie will partner De Jager in the second row.

The front row consists of Wiehahn Herbst, Jaco Visagie and Simphiwe Matanzima.
