TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Blue Bulls coach Pote Human made a number of changes ahead of the Currie Cup semifinal encounter with Western Province at Newlands on Saturday.

The most significant is the decision to move Springbok prop Trevor Nyakane from tighthead to loosehead.

This has been prompted by the injury-enforced absence of loosehead prop Matthys Basson – who damaged his calf during the 7-34 loss to WP in Pretoria last week.

With Nyakane moving to loosehead, Dayan van der Westhuizen will start at tighthead.

The backline shows a couple of unforced changes.

Duncan Matthews comes in on the right wing in place of Jamba Ulengo.

Sevens Bok Dylan Sage will start at outside centre, with Johnny Kotze moving to inside centre in place of Franco Naude – who drops down to an extended bench.
