Cheetahs shatter Verblitz
The South African side scored nine tries to the opposition’s one in a match that served as preparation for Japanese Top League and Currie Cup competitions for the two teams.
Cheetahs' Tier Schoeman continued to build on his superb form in the Super Rugby, while lock Reniel Hugo also showed that he will be a valuable asset as they head into the Currie Cup.
The side from Free State took a lead on 29-6 at the break, with four tries in the bag.
Cheetahs continued to build on that first half performance, while Verblitz struggled to get into the match.
Eventually Robbie Robinson scored the visitors only try with ten minutes to go on the clock. The New Zealand-born fullback managed to beat his opponent to go down for the five points.
However the visitors have done most of the work and secured the win.
