Groin problems for Sharks
The Sharks will be without two backline players for their clash against the Bulls at Loftus with Odwa Ndungane and Heimar Williams both suffering groin strains.
Ndungane suffered his groin strain against the Cheetahs last weekend with his lay-off period uncertain according to Dr Alan Kourie, the team doctor,
Williams strain will see the centre out of action for up to four weeks.
Meanwhile, there are also issues for a pair of props in the Sharks squad, England international Matt Stevens and young star Thomas du Toit will also not be available for the clash with the Bulls.
Stevens has had a minor scope on the left knee and has been ruled out for approximately three weeks.
Du Toit, who failed a late fitness test before the Free State game will be put through another test later this week before a call is made on his availability.
The Sharks take on the Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld as they start the new cross-section round of matches.
