Hoffman returns to Sharks

The Brumbies have leaked another former Shark with Conrad Hoffman confirming he will return to Durban ahead of the Currie Cup season.

 

Hoffman made his break out with Western Province before joining the Sharks between 2011-2012, he will now return to provide cover for the departing Charl McLeod who is on his was to Grenoble.

 

Injuries slowed the 26-year-old's progress in South Africa before he was handed a second chance at the Brumbies, However, Wallaby scrumhalf Nic White forestalled Hoffman's chances in Australia.

 

Lionel Cronje, also formerly of the Brumbies, has already returned to Durban and awaits his Australian teammate.

 

The Sharks start their Currie Cup campaign against Griquas in Kimberley on Saturday, August 9.
