Lions drop Ackermann for Brink

Andries Ferreira replaces the injured Lourens Erasmus at lock and Cyle Brink comes in for Ruan Ackermann who drops down to the bench in a rotational move.

Martin Muller joins the bench as back-up lock and Pieter Scholtz as replacement prop.

The Lions are coming off an impressive 58-32 win over Western Province last weekend. They are currently fifth on the Currie Cup Premier Division standings, two points behind the fourth-placed Griquas.

The Cheetahs are sitting pretty at the top of the standings after five wins from five.
