Lions forced to change

Currie Cup leaders, the Golden Lions, have made an injury-enforced change to their team to face Western Province in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The loose forwards have been changed to accommodate a rib injury to Cobus Grobbelaar.

Warren Whiteley moves up from the bench to the No.8 position, Joshua Strauss shifts from his regular position at eighthman to openside flank and Derick Minnie also shuffles to blindside flank.

Coach John Mitchell said at the team announcement on Wednesday that he did not know how long Grobbelaar would be out of action for.

In the only change to the bench, Jaco Kriel replaces Whiteley, providing cover on the flank.
