Lions opt for consistency
Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has kept his side the same bar one injury enforced change at lock for the game against the Pumas at Ellis Park on Friday.
The Lions recorded a famous victory over the then unbeaten Western Province team 35-33 and will be hoping the consistency in selection means consistency in performance.
The Pumas hit a stumbling block against the Griquas on the weekend when they went down 27-31 away from home.
In the forwards, Martin Muller will start at lock in place of the injured Luvuyiso Lusaseni.
On the bench, Derick Minnie will return from injury to provide cover.
Malcolm Marx, who made his debut at the weekend against Western Province before hobbling off with what looked like a rib injury, will need to pass a fitness test later in the week in order to be included on the bench.
