According to reports, Warren Whiteley and Aphiwe Dyantyi are available for selection for the match after taking part in full training on Monday.

Whiteley has reportedly recovered from a groin injury that sidelined him for the last two rounds of the Rugby Championship.

Meanwhile, the Lions will likely be without Malcolm Marx for the semifinal after the hooker picked up an injury in the 34-36 loss to the All Blacks in Pretoria.

The Golden Lions finished third in the Currie Cup standings with four wins and two losses from their six games.

The Sharks finished second in the overall standings with five wins and one defeat.

The weekend’s other semifinal sees Western Province host the Blue Bulls in Cape Town.
