Pumas keep winning formula

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse has kept changes to the minimum for his team’s top-of-the-table Currie Cup Round Four encounter with the Cheetahs.

The table-topping Cheetahs host the second-placed Pumas in Bloemfontein on Friday.

The team to travel to the Free State Stadium shows just two changes from the side that beat Griquas (28-13) in Nelspruit last week in a re-run of last year’s Final.

Chriswill September will start at scrumhalf in place of Giovan Snyman and Wian van Niekerk is at inside centre in place of Ali Mgijima.

The forwards are unchanged.

Replacements: 16 Llewellyn Classen, 17 Etienne Janeke, 18 Juice Gumede, 19 Malembe Mpofu, 20 Ruwald van der Merwe, 21 Giovan Snyman, 22 Brandon Thomson, 23 Stefan Coetzee.
