Rhodes hearing postponed
The disciplinary hearing for Western Province forward Michael Rhodes, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, has been postponed until Thursday.
Rhodes was cited on Monday for a dangerous tackle in the Currie Cup Final against the Sharks at Newlands.
Rhodes was penalised in the second half for placing his arm around Sharks hooker Bismarck du Plessis' neck in a maul and maintaining his grip for a few seconds, which is in breach of law 10.4 (e) relating to dangerous tackling.
Rhodes' hearing will take place on Thursday at 11.00 in Cape Town. Advocate Donny Jacobs has been appointed the judicial officer.
The versatile former Sharks and Lions forward received a one-match ban earlier in the season for trampling on Blue Bulls skipper Jono Ross.
