Sharks show a different side in wet weather

It was the Sharks ninth win in a row in this season's Currie Cup, which also secured them a play-off place with a few rounds left to play.

Sharks show a different side in wet weather"I am very pleased with the win," Du Preez told reporters after the match.

"We obviously knew it was going to rain and we were prepared for it and I thought we executed the game plan sufficiently, albeit there were still some missed opportunities.

"But I am happy with the result."

The Sharks won the forward battle against the Bulls at Kings Park, which was something Du Preez was particularly pleased about.

"I was very pleased with that, especially at scrum time and I thought we were a bit unlucky not to get more reward from our dominant scrum," he said.

Centre Jeremy Ward is the only major injury concern from the clash in Durban.

"We got Jeremy Ward that has got a bit of an AC joint [injury]. It doesn't look too serious, so hopefully he will be alright. I am not too sure about next week [against the Golden Lions] though," Du Preez added.
