Super Sarel back to face Bulls
Griquas have made a number of changes to their side for the clash against the Blue Bulls in Kimberley on Saturday, the most notably the return of scrumhalf and match breaker Sarel Pretorius.
There is also the start for lock George Earle, on loan from the Lions, and Leon Karemaker, who is back in the starting side after a long injury lay-off and a few games off the bench.
Earl Rose is back as replacement in the matchday 22.
Added to the changes there are some positional shuffles.
Karemaker’s inclusion in place of Marnus Schoeman has necessitated the move of No.8 and captain Jonathan Mokuena to No.7 flank, with Justin Downy now playing on the openside.
Earle’s inclusion forces Jaco Nepgen to the bench, where Burger Schoeman comes in place of his namesake and fellow loose forward Marnus Schoeman.
Marnus Hugo swaps places with scrumhalf Pretorius by moving to the bench, Rose replaces Hanno Coetzee as backline replacement in the matchday 22 and Monty Dumond is bracketed with Fabian Juries on the bench.
It is an extremely important match for Griquas. A loss would spell the end of their very slim hopes to make the play-offs.
