Team doctor Herman Rossouw revealed that Odendaal pulled out of training last week as scans revealed bleeding on his quad and will be out of action for four to six weeks.

Two other players have also been ruled out for the rest of the season. They are flank Nic de Jager (Achilles) and prop Matthys Basson (AC joint).

The good news for the Bulls is that Wian Vosloo who has been declared fit after injuring his rib against Western Province in Round One.

The Bulls are currently at the bottom of the Currie Cup standings with two defeats from their two matches so far.
