Where is Schoeman?

INJURY UPDATE: Blue Bulls fans may have to wait a little bit longer to see Paul ‘Tier’ Schoeman in action.

The Bulls on Monday revealed Schoeman, who signed for the Bulls from the Free State Cheetahs after the 2017/2018 Pro14 season, has strained his back and has gone for scans to assess the extent of the injury.

A call on his availability for Saturday’s Currie Cup match against Western Province will be made later this week.

Schoeman was named in the Blue Bulls Currie Cup squad but has yet to feature in a match in this season.

Meanwhile, the Blue Bulls confirmed that centre JT Jackson has successfully undergone surgery on his ankle last week and is expected to be out for eight-ten weeks.

The Blue Bulls enjoyed their third and final bye last week.

The Currie Cup squad were involved in an internal match last week Thursday to give them valuable game time and there were no new injury concerns amongst the first-choice team.
