Daniel takes over Baby Boks captaincy
Ralepelle gets a break against Georgia
South African coach Pieter de Villiers has made eight changes, including naming a new captain, when he announced the side to face Georgia in a Round Two match at the International Rugby Board (IRB) Under-21 World Championship at Stade Antonin Chastel in Thiers, France, on Tuesday.
Sharks loose forward Keegan Daniel will captain the side in the absence of the regular captain Chilliboy Ralepelle.
De Villiers decided to rest his captain, Ralepelle, Pierre Spies and Marius Delport for this specific match.
Just seven players that started in the first match – a 20-16 win against Argentina – are again in the starting line-up.
This means that the Coach will have the opportunity to see all the players, accept Sharks winger, Cedric Mkhize, in action before picking the team for the crucial encounter against France.
A final decision about Cedric Mkhize will be made Tuesday. The medical team is positive that he will be ready to face France on Saturday.
"I need to see certain players and combinations in action to enable me to pick the best Team against France. It is also a great and only opportunity to rest vital players," De Villiers said.
