Headbutting Treviso flank in hot water
Benetton Treviso flank Francesco Minto must attend a disciplinary hearing on December 22 after he was sent off against Biarritz in the Heineken Cup on Friday.
Minto was shown a red card in the 24th minute for a headbutt on Biarritz scrumhalf Yann Lesgourgues, for which referee Peter Fitzgibbon has no hesitation in giving him his marching orders.
Jeremy Summers (England) has been appointed as the independent judicial officer to hear this matter which contravenes Law 10.4(a).
