Play-off advantage to Gloucester

Following a draw conducted by the EPCR board, Gloucester will have home advantage in Match one of the play-offs for the 20th place in next year's European Cup.

 

Gloucester, who qualified for the play-offs by winning the Challenge Cup Final last Friday at the Twickenham Stoop, will play the highest-ranked club not already qualified from the Pro12 at Kingsholm Stadium on Sunday, May 24.

 

The winner of Match one will have home advantage against the seventh-ranked club in the Top 14 in Match two on Sunday, May 31.

 

The winner of Match two will secure a place in next season's Champions Cup.

Match one – Sunday, May 24

 

Gloucester v Pro12 (highest-ranked club not already qualified)

Venue: Kingsholm Stadium 

Kick-off: 15.30 (14.30 GMT)

 

Match two – Sunday, May 31

 

Winner of Match one v Top 14 (seventh-ranked club)

Venue: Match one's winner's home ground.

Kick off: 17.00 (16.00 GMT)
