Red card duo await their fate

In Le Roux' case, Antony Davies (England) has been appointed as the independent Judicial Officer and Pat Barriscale (Ireland) will handle Rees' case.

Law 10.4 (b) Stamping/Trampling on an Opponent – Under World Rugby's Sanctions for Foul Play, Law 10.4 (b), Stamping/Trampling on an Opponent, carries the following sanction entry points – Low End: two weeks, Mid-Range: five weeks, Top End: nine to 52 weeks.

The case of any player sent off in EuropeanChampions Cup and Challenge Cup games shall be adjudicated by an independent Judicial Officer as soon as is practicable. The player is ineligible to play in any tournament until the hearing has been completed.
