Toulouse star could miss Euro semi
CHAMPIONS CUP NEWS: Toulouse’s Samoa lock Joe Tekori will appear in front of a disciplinary hearing a few days before this weekend’s Champions Cup semifinal against holders Leinster, the French Rugby League (LNR) said.
The French club face the Irish province on Sunday but Tekori, 35, has been cited for a dangerous tackle in last weekend’s Top 14 victory over Clermont.
The 37-time international is at risk of a receiving a suspension ranging between two-52 weeks on Thursday for the challenge which left opponent Yohan Beheregaray unconscious.
Beheregaray was carried off the field of play on a stretcher.
